The road from town to the airport is ok , the taxes are private vehicles, only difference is that the drivers wear Id tags for distingushion.i would expect to see a better well constructed plane in the future

Small Airport located in Bukoba rural area just 5-10min drive from town centerThe runway is not that much big to allow big plane like boeng to landThere are two plane which go to Dar es salaam via Mwanza everydayThere is small restaurant insideThe environment is green and cleanThere are wheel chairThe packing area is wide

Small but nice airport

I think the airport and is terminal must be better adapted for people with disabilities. It is sometimes tricky to manage to go to to the airplane. especially when it raining. And enter the airplane is not easy for someone who can´t walk. He/she had to be carried. I hope the management will improve the situation with the new terminal.

It has good facilities especially was well prepared for covid 19
