I think there food hygiene is not the best, would not eat meat from there again, made me a bit sick.

2nd time back in Bagamoyo in 2 weeks and lucky to catch a live session on both occasions....food is varied and well presented...small wait before you get it but music and company was great so time was irrelevant..

The place is gorgeous with cultural setting spiced with delicious food and plenty of drinks. Oooh I almost forgot, there is a live band performance occasionally ❤️❣️a place worth recommending.

Poa Poa Restaurant, must be the best restaurant I have been to in the area of bagamoyo. As somebody who knows Bagamoyo inside and outside I can guarantee you that this place has to be taken into consideration whether its for lunch or a place to get a few drinks in the evening. With a terrace where fresh air blows in or to a wide variety of sea food and other dishes to a attractive price, for not only locals but tourists aswell! Any questions? Then ask the owner, cause such a warm hearted owner is rare from what Ive experienced in Tanzania, with Tips and recommendations on what to do/see.Ill be back!Asante Sana

Good food and fast service (uncommon to Tanzania), but pecuniary hash:When I entered, a waiter has borrowed 5000 shilling from me, because I looked as good money. There was no attempt at all to refund the money, and I paid the bill due to normal menu prizes, which were relativly inexpensive.I then dedicated the refund of the loan to the waiter who served me as tip, but I wondered if he ever get that.Hint to the manager: Do not employ staff who takes bad loans from your customers. Your employees will also apply this on YOU.

Great place to pop in while in Bagamoyo for great coffee and meals. All meals are freshly prepared so put that into consideration when placing your order.

One of the best, to make a stop in Bagamoyo. Good food and drink, in the heart of the city.Very nice and authentic place. Very nice treatment.

That was by far the best restaurant that we have experienced in Bagamoyo but also in other comparison in the area! Always freshly cooked without it taking 1 hour. And above all, the same quality, regardless of whether we were the only guests or a group of 30 students crashed the kitchen with us. Unbeatable price performance and super nice team! To be recommended at any time! By the way, the building itself is totally awesome. One point is deducted for the dilapidated staircase, one of which has to fall before repairs are made ...
