Perhaps the oldest Shi’a mosque in Tanzania - not sure, but the mosque will give you ancient middle eastern vibes. You hardly see anyone praying - sometimes just 2-3 people but during weekends you’d find few people from Dar visiting Bagamoyo. You’ll always see children outside the mosque either playing football or waiting for treats from the visitors visiting the mosque.
