This is the best African food restaurant in Babati, and much better value for money than the fancy hotels. They make fresh fruit juices every day, and do a lovely hot breakfast with delicious fresh chapati and spiced tea. Lunch has the usual Tanzanian offerings of chicken, beef and fish with rice or ugali and beans. They also do an amazing pilau, and on some days they make biriyani which is absolutely to die for. Big, delicious meals for very reasonable prices.There are also cabinet snacks such as samosas, fried meats and a Tanzanian take on scotch eggs that are well worth trying.
