We are 2 girls from Israel, we took a week safari tours with this company. Shabani was amazing! Took care of us like a family, provided services that we didnt even ask thanks to his generosity. Throughout the entire trip he was always available for our needs and questions. His team was super professional, it was an amazing week! Cynthia took care of us in their hostel like a sister. We found a new family forever! We SUPER RECOMMEND Wanyama African Safari!!

As a big group, we had to make sure that everything will be organized before we arrive to Arusha. And it really was. The communication with the agency before our arrival, organisation of our transfer, acommodation, safari itself and even the further plans of our adventure were well planned and executed.

We arrived to one week in Tanzania and we did 4 days Safari with Wanyama tour. Shabani the manager was very helpful. Niraj the tour guide was great. The whole experience was amazing. Seeing all the animals and sleep in tents. The tour guide and the cook took care of us and we just have so much fun. Really recommend to use Wanyama safari. Also you can do day trips to villages and Kilimanjaro.

We took a 4 days (3 nights) safari. It was really, really good, but also it was kind of exhausting. We are happy that we were there and we strongly recommend it.Good points:- We saw almost all animals from not so far away (cheetahs and leopard by binocular, rest of the animals from the very close distance - lions walked close to our car);- The driver was really good. He was trying to find us much animals as possible. He had really good eye. He also said a lot about animals and gave us a lot of details;- The driver gave us a lot of time to make a photos and admire animals;- One night we spent in a camp where zebras were spending a night too;- The food was quite good - every day we had different dishes;- Hot shower during the 1 and the 3 night (cold during the 2);- Sunset and sunrise are really amazing;- Electricity (possibility to charge phone/camera) during the 1 and the 3 night.Bad points:- Each night in different spot and it was really exhausting - nights are also really cold;- No possibility to buy a beer/wine during the 2 and the 3 night.

We did a 4 days safari with wanyama and it was from the beginning till the end a completely disaster. No information, wasting time for nothing with waiting, bad guide, horrible car...etc. only the food was good. We also had no information about the animals! We even didnt saw that much animals, because the guide was super lazy. Please, dont throw your money with wanyama!!

An incredible guide but a very disappointing general organizationWe booked a 3 day/2 night camping safari in Serengeti & Ngorongoro with Wanyama, going straight to their office in Arusha with Shabani.First, our guide Issa was amazing and deserves more than 5 stars. From morning to night he made sure we got the most out of our safari. Big five more than validated!Unfortunately, the general organization was very irritating. We learned during the stay that the safari had in fact been entrusted to the company Avocet, Wanyama only served as a tour operator. What is strange is that the 3 couples who made up our car had booked with Wanyama, so why outsource? Some of the problems encountered:- First day of safari: 30 minutes late for pick-up, then stop to fill up gas where we had to wait for an Avocet manager to come and pay, then stop to get water, then another 1 hour of hitchhiking to pick up passengers, then another to pick up the tents… Result: you pay for 1 day of safari to only have 3 hours actually in the park. The road to Serengeti is already long enough to have to add organizational stops that could have been anticipated.- Second day: the passengers of the second Avocet car complained that they had not seen as many animals as our car, so the guides decided that for the rest the two cars would do the safari together. Result: everyone expects -> if one person out of the eleven wants to take a picture of a bird, the two cars stop, we waste our time.- 3rd day: it is THE day in Ngorongoro, the sublime crater where the animals are “locked up”. We camped at the entrance of the crater to be able to go there as soon as it opened. But in fact no: we learn at dinner that 2 people who are camping outside the park are going to join our group (knowing that our car is already full, but as we have to stay waiting…). So we had to wait for them to join our group, and leave 1h30 after all the other companies. Result: we missed the sunrise over Ngorongoro, the time when the animals are most active, and we paid a high price for camping in the park without enjoying the park in the early morning. On the way home, we tried to bring these issues to Shabani, who didnt even listen to the end of the first sentence and turned to someone else.Very disappointing general experience regarding the organization but a big thank you to our guide Issa who tried to juggle all these constraints as well as possible and who allowed us to see thousands of animals.

My husband and I went on a safari with Wanyama last July. Shabani, the director of the agency, is a great professional as well as very nice and attentive, he complied with everything we hired, very good value for money. I cannot forget to mention our guide Richard, a charming person, always attentive and very patient with the group, explaining everything in English and Spanish, we were very lucky in every way, we saw many animals, no problem with the car, even the other guys in the group were very polite and very nice. For all this I recommend this agency without hesitation. It will be an unforgettable memory in my life.Tanzania forever❤

Unfortunately my girlfriend and I happened to be in the hands of this agency which I thought was professional but it is absolutely to be avoided !!!!!!! I describe below only some of the shortcomings because if I let myself be carried away by how angry I am, then I am afraid to write about everything and more ... As soon as I arrived, he took me more money because instead of making the official change he made the change that agreed to him, I accepted because I had already paid the deposit and okay ... We left for a safari of 6 days 5 nights 1910 dollars with a visit to tarangire parks, lake manyara, serengeti and ngorongoro. In all four parks that are wonderful we have only seen a few elephants and little else but the predators are there, the fact is that THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE RADIO TRANSMITTER ... for those unfamiliar with safari the radio is a fundamental system to be able to sighting predators because the parks are immense and you cant go randomly with a jeep without any indication. Normally the other agencies have a sparse
