The face of Africa team was amazing, Shaffie and Hamadi know a lot about wild life and the beautiful safari animals. All the drives were nice, and the picnics were even better. and on the last day we all had a big dinner with them dancing, eating, and singing.We arrived in Nairobi and Hamadi crossed the border to get us and bring us to Tanzania. When we left Tanzania he also brought us back and crossed the border with us to make sure everything went by smoothly. He went above and beyond. So by far The Face of Africa will be my go to for all of my safari trips while in Tanzania.

My family and I had a blast on our 9-day Face of Africa safari, with an extra 6-day excursion in Zanzibar to complete our trip. With Mr. Shafii as our driver, we met in Arusha and took off, traveling to Tarangire NP, Lake Eyasi, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, Mount Meru, and Lake Natron before flying to Zanzibar. We experienced how the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes live while on a day-long culture tour near Lake Eyasi; the highlights for that day included my sister getting married to a Datoga tribesman and our failure at using a bow. I was even able to buy one of the Hadzabe instruments with the help of Alex, our local guide. Also, according to Mr. Shafii, we were super lucky, as we were witness to both a leopard eating in a tree and a lion using our vehicle as shade while traveling through the Serengeti. The time we spent in Tanzania was off-the-charts amazing and heaping in culture. Face of Africa Adventures is full of friendly staff, who are willing to work with budgetary restraints and add customizable additions to trips. My family and I highly recommend! Thanks for the trip of a lifetime. :)

Truly disappointed. Food everyday was disappointing. Driver had an attitude, seemed disillusioned with having to deal with the public. Accommodations were not the quality I was led to believe. Overall, I hope to go with another company in the future and chalk up the financial loss to lessons learned. Oh and single gals, watch out for subtle advances from the owner.

Excelent company Face of Africa, totally recommended. We had 4 days Safari Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, amazing places where we saw the Big 5.The nights at the camping sites were incredibles, we saw buffaloes and zebras close to our tents and during the night we could here lions and hyenas.Our Chef prepared delicious dishes on the way and our driver Jackson knew a lot about animals, parks and Maasai.We really enjoyed the Safari, thanks to Hamadi that helped us to organize our Safari.

All the companies offer more or less the same, with big differences on the price... we took face of africa, and in the same car there were people that they payed much less. scam? no, but they do not offer nothing special you cannot find cheaper. the experience of the safari is amazing by itself.

Amazing Safari with Face of Africa! I booked the Safari from my country and paid in full before to arrive. The communication was excellent: they answer by email straight away to any doubt or answer, I received by email the breefing of the Safari and they provide a very good services: pick up and drop off from/to the airport, excellent guide and chef cooker.A very particular thanks to our guide Issach, who is a really a great person and the best guide ever, he made our Safari one of the best experience of our life...we saw all the BIG FIVE!!!The price is very competitive to the other company keeping high standard quality.Thanks Hamadi for the top quality service!
