We had the absolute best time doing our Safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris. The entire team is just very helpful and ALWAYS making the biggest effort to make your experience as special and perfect as it can get. Most likely you will get in touch with Bartho first, when booking the trip. He is the owner of the company and highly professional and helpful with what ever questions or concerns you might have. The safari itself was just amazing. The safari jeep is very comfortable (LOVED THE PILLOWS!), we got provided with the BEST FOOD (see the other reviews - itβs all true - varied, fresh, extremely tasty meals 3 times a day), soft drinks, water, beer and wine. We got to see the big 5 and many other incredible animals and nature. We were like a big family while our 3 days safari, made new friends and left with a light heart full of great memories that will last for a lifetime. So if your trying to decide for one of the many tour operators in Arusha - I highly recommend choosing this one! You wonβt regret! They are amazing π
Once in a lifetime safari - Wakanda Forever!5 of us had the best experience possible for our 4 day safari with Wakanda Tours. From the beginning, Bartho the owner was very responsive over whatsapp, giving us many options to choose from and answering all questions quickly. Obviously with Covid it is difficult to commit to a big trip like this and Bartho totally understood, offering free cancellation should it be needed. The trip itself was phenomenal. Our guide Andrew was an absolute dream. The son of a Serengeti Park ranger his passion for the wildlife and knowledge of all the parks we visited was unbelievable. Thanks to him we completed the big 5 and saw no less than 4 leopards, one from about 3 metres away - truly magical stuff! Everyones safari will be different in what you see but with a guide like Andrew you have the best chance possible of seeing everything you dreamed of.The food from our chef Dullah was of a crazy high standard for the tools he had available. Cooking from an open fire and bbq he produced breakfast, lunch and dinner to the standard of a resort hotel.Dont hesitate to get in touch with Bartho and he will answer any questions you have. All I can say is you would be crazy not to book with yhese guys!
Everything about Serengeti Wakanda Tours was beyond amazing. Before we go on the safari itself, Bartho was available to answer all our questions (and we had a lot). It was NYE and he still made time for us. One of us has a phobia of insects & geckos and when explained this to Bartho, he made sure that our rooms in the lodge were extra clean, and they were!On the safari itself, we had the awesomest tour guide EVER, Elia! Elia was super friendly and helpful all throughout. He is very knowledgeable and always gave us this interesting trivia about the animals in the park. He also has a very artistic eye for the best photos! Hes very kind and so much fun; he always played for us our favorite African songs and we sang and danced together. As for the game drives, Elia always made sure that were up and ready in the car on time to see everything we wanted to see; and honestly speaking, he exceeded our expectations every single day.We must also tell you about Doula, our safari cook. Everyday we had fresh and tasty food AND dessert. Even on days where we slept in tents in a campsite, we also had tasty and hot food cooked with passion, along with Doulas infamous FRESHLY BAKED BREAD! People around us with other safari companies had packed sandwiches while we had a daily feast, 3 meals a day.So to conclude, we saw elephants, zebras, cheetahs, wild beasts, buffalo, leopards, hyenas, antelopes, hippos, and LIONS... and it was absolutely glorious... but we wouldnt have had this amazing experience without Serengeti Wakanda. So THANK YOU, Bartho, Elia, and Doula! You are awesome and your passion is beautiful :-)We will see you soon xYour African friends,Moni, Gasser, Yara, Yasmine
We had an amazing tour with Wakanda which we will never forget. Chedi, our guide was a very positive person always in good mood and knows so much about all the animals. He even helped me get rid of some of my fears. Everything was very well organized and Dulla, our cook was cooking proper meals 3 times a day - amazing dishes! I would totally recommend them.
We had a very great time with Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris on our 3 day Serengeti and Ngorongoro Park trip. The driver guide came to pick us up on time, we ate like kings throughout the 3 days with copious and elaborate meals cooked on the spot and last but not least, we had a wonderful experience thanks to the guide who knew how to answer all our questions (God knows if we had any!) and adapt to our desires in a good mood and laughter. In short, punctuality, excellent food and a qualified and funny French-speaking guide!
It was the best choice weβve ever had. At the beginning, before we contract the safari, Bartho was very flexible and arranged us a very suitable tour. He gave us recommendations and after the safari I can say that he was right in every piece of advice he gave us. During the safari, our guide was the best one, Chedi was a great professional, he really knows about the wild animals and could see more animals that we had ever imagined. Additionally, he made the safari very enjoyable, having conversations and funny moments with all of us. And the food was incredible, Dulla cooked us such a nice dishesβ¦in the middle of nowhere we were the ones who ate better, for sure! We would contract Serengeti Wakanda again if we did another safari in Tanzania.
First of all, Zamo (our Tour Guide and driver) and Denis (our cook) were the BEST!! Among many offers we chose Wakanda because of a friends recommendation and the included itinerary. We did 3 nights (one in the Fig Tree Lodge, which was very nice! And 2 nights in a tent - everything was provided by Wakanda). The first day we visited Tarangire Nationalpark which was beautiful with many many animals and a awesome landscape. Then we did Serengeti, which was huge and impressive and dry, where we saw many lions and hippos (and many more). And on the last day we saw the Ngorogoro crater, which was amazing as well with so many animals and where we were lucky to see all the big 5 animals. (The others additionally did the lake Manyara but its the least spectacular one and we were quite happy to do 3 nights). In general we had the feeling that Zamo knew all the National parks very well and the secret spots. Also he was very respectful about the animals (in contrast to other cars who almost bothered the animals sometimes). Zamo explained us a lot, had a good sense of humor and after the four days we got to know him very well. He also told us a lot about Tansania and its culture and lifestyle! He was just great! And Denis was for sure the best cook you can get! Extremely good food (from meat, to self made bread, fruits, pancakes, lasagne and so on)!! We also got hot meals for lunch AND dinner (in comparison to other groups who often just had a sandwich). And we had more than enough beer and wine. Moreover we were very lucky with our group because the other 4 persons were in our age and on the same vibe as us! It was very funny with them and this made these 4 days also special :)To summarize: we can highly recommend Wakanda Tours (try to get Zamo and Denis!) but of course it always depends on the guide, on the group and on the luck of which animals you will see. We saw a lion passing right next to our car but we didnt see a hunt for example. And a valuable tip: take warm clothes, it gets very cold!! Thanks a lot to Bartho who organized everything and was always friendly and helpful and to Zamo and Denis, you are the best!! :)
The trip of a lifetime! - thanks to Serengeti Wakanda. I went on a 5-day safari in Sept. 2021. 1 day in Tarangire, 3 days in Serengeti, 1 day in Ngorongoro. The tour operator was amazing. The owner, Bartho, helped me with so many questions and he personally met me at the beginning and end of my trip. The driver and guide, Andrew, was also amazing. He was really fun and has so much knowledge of the animals. Our cook, Dullah... you guessed it... amazing! Three meals a day were provided. Cooked fresh and served to our group.I was a solo traveler with three other solos and a couple. It worked out great. We camped in tents which was fun. They have designated camping areas with rangers watching out for animals.Great value, great service, great trip! You dont have to search anymore. Youve found the one. Serengeti Wakanda will take care of you!
We had a great Safari using Wakanda Tours. Our guide Isaack had an incredible ability to find a lot of animals. We were lucky to find cheetahs hunting in Serengeti, which isnβt always easy to do. Issack was very calm and experienced which made us feel very comfortable in the jeep.Otherwise we had som great meals made by our stomach engineer/ cook Doula. Soups as starters with freshmade bread everyday. Potatoes/ rice or pasta with steak and salads as main dishes. And to our surprise, we had dessert everynight which was awesome. All in all a great experience and well organized by Bartho who always were Quick to reply to any kind of questions
An absolutely incredible four day tour with Andrew around the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. Andrew did absolutely everything possible to make sure we had the trip of a lifetime seeing so much wildlife, even the Black Rhino! The food was delicious (shout out to Dula!) and everything from airport transfer to accommodation was perfect. Would recommend Wakanda Safari to everyone!
This company was fantastic. I took the 6 day Safari and it was the perfect amount of time. I have zero complaints with the whole experience. Everything was ran perfectly. Our guide Andrew was outstanding and very knowledgeable. He made the experience truly amazing. The cook was also fantastic. I took the budget safari and was very impressed with the level of food we got for it being a budget option. At many of the picnic areas I would observe other groups and their lunches were very basic and not to the same quality as we were recieving throughout the trip. Every detail of the trip went flawlessly. We saw so many animals and had a blast. My only complaint is I couldnt stay longer. I will definitely choose this company again in the future. If you are trying to decide on the right company then stop now and book with them. You will not regret it.
Wow, what an amazing trip with Wakanda. The trip exceeded my expectations on many levels. Our guide was very friendly and welcoming and was very knowledgeable. Our chef spoilt us at every morning with very tasty meals. I especially loved the breakfasts that we would have in the parks. We got taken on beautiful sunrise game drives. I never imagined I would see so much wildlife up close, including over 50 lions. One of my favorite parts was the unexpected picnic lunch by the hippos. The camps were basic though beautiful locations and the tents and bedding was clean. The lodge we stayed in was also very pleasant and clean. I travelled alone but it was not a worry and I would highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda. Future tips would be to make sure you have shillings in case you visit the tribes and to have some warm clothes for chilly evenings
Experience of a Lifetime, Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris !I have just completed a 6 day safari as a solo traveler and can not say enough great things about Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris. From the beginning, Bartho the owner was very responsive over WhatsApp and was answering all questions quickly.Everything was perfect , our food was outstanding ,thanks to Dulla. Our guide Andrew , was just fantastic. He was such a wealth of knowledge of knowledge and an absolute pleasure! It was my first Safari but I believe it was the best one !Would highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda to anyone interested in completing a safari!
When I started looking for the right safari for me, there were so many options that I felt a bit overwhelmed. Aside from all the great reviews I saw for Serengeti Wakanda Tours, the one thing that stood out to me was the food. They offer amazing local meals cooked for you by a local chef, and that was part of the experience that I wanted. And it turned out to be the best choice I could possibly make. Bartho, the manager, was not only super helpful, but also super friendly and always available to answer every question and recommend the best solutions to accommodate what our itinerary needed. The guides (we changed guides because our itinerary was shorter than the rest of our initial group, as we went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro, and not Serengeti; we did this because we only had 3 days for the safari and not 4 to make the most of the trip) were very knowledgable and very gracious, and we were able to see every animal that we had dreamt of. It was worth every dollar. After the tour was over, I had the chance to talk to Bartho about his vision for his company and the way he sees Tanzania and how to make an impact on the community and it was great.I hope I have the chance to go on a safari tour in Tanzania again and when I do, I will definitely go back to Serengeti Wakanda Tours. 6/5 stars
Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris is a very serious tour provider.I highly recomend to go with them as they really look after your well beeing durring your whole trip!We had the great pleasure to have Andrew (Driver & Guide) and Dulla (Cooker) on our 6 - Day Safari. These two guys made our Safari to an unforgotable trip. Andrew and Dulla are passinated about their jobs! We had very delicious food all the time (Dulla used to work in a international five star Hotel as a Cooker).Having Andrew as our Guide was just incredible. He takes care about his customer in a very respectful and honest way. Heβs very experianced about the wildlife and was always happy to share his knowledge with us.I HIGHLY RECOMEND Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris! Especially when it comes down to price / value!(Philippe, 30 years, Switzerland)
Woooow, It was amazing, we started from Tarangire Park sleeping in a very good Lodge where our chef served the BEST food. Then we went to Serengeti park where we slept in another lodge and finally we finished sleeping a tent un Gorongoro Park, and lived the experience of sleeping next to the wild and peaceful animals that were around the campsite.Every breakfast, lunch and dinner was cooked by our private chef who was with us during most of the trips and he also cooked it in the moment. The guide was very enthusiastic about the different animales, and knew every park very well, he explained a lot of curious things about the animals we encountered. The price was very accurate taking into account everything, more than cheap regarding the awesome experience we had, with all the food, the enthusiasm of the guide and the professionality of Bartho who was the Guy un charge of the Company. It was a pleasure doing the safari with all of them!Everyone spoke so very good English and they were very talkative. An experience that we are very sure that we will repeat and very soon, with SERENGETI WAKANDA!
My friends and I had booked a four day Safari via Serengeti Wakanda in the course of which we visited the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.I can say without a doubt that all our expectations were not only met but most definitely exceeded.First of all the entire tour was perfectly organized down to the last detail. Our tour guide Andrew was the most competent and welcoming guy who provided us with a lot of useful information about the nature and the animals in the parks. Regardless of how detailed our questions were he was never at a loss of answers and made a great effort to allow us an experience of the animals at close quarters.Dullah, our private chef, didnβt surprise us any less with his first- rate freshly cooked meals. The jealous looks to our plates from other tourists confirmed that it wasnβt only our group who thought that Dullahs meals were the most appetizing ones.Worth of mentioning is also that Serengeti Wakanda definitely has the most attractive price/ performance ratio.By any account we had an unforgettable time and we warmly recommend the tour to all of you.
After my girlfriend and I decided to go to safari, I contacted Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris and their owner Bartho was very quick to respond. After a quick chat with him I realised that there is no need to search another agency and Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris should be a perfect choice for us. And it was perfect indeed! We had a 4-day budget safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) and expected to spend 1 night in the lodge and 2 in the tents, but due to massive rains in the Serengeti area Bartho advised to have another night in the lodge for a really small fee, so in the end we had only one night in the tent. Despite the name βbudgetβ, organisation was perfect, our chief Dullah definitely has a passion and our meals were absolutely gorgeous - no repeated meals, fresh baked bread, desserts - all very tasty. Also, our driver/guide Moody was always in a good mood, told us lots of interesting things about animals and local culture and traditions and did his best to spot as many animals as possible. Except for leopards (but sometimes itβs all about luck on safari), we saw every possible animal - cheetah, rhinos at a close range (very rare!), lions and their war with hyenas, and of course elephants, giraffes and many many more! Also, thanks to our small international (Tanzania, USA, Uganda, France, Ukraine) team (or should I say family?) for no delays in the mornings and a great atmosphere during our adventure.I highly recommend Wakanda Tours and Safaris - be sure you will have a great unforgettable experience with their team.
In november 2019 my friend and I went on a 4-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro where we experienced four amazing unforgettable days. Our always smiling guide Malisa was the funniest and he could answer all our detailed questions about the parks and the animals. He was enthusiastic, patient, caring and tried to fulfil all of our βanimal requestsβ, resulting in spotting the complete big 5. He always found nice places for having lunch whereby avoiding the crowds. Moreover Malisa helped us with taking the best pictures and learned us taking beautiful close-up pictures by using binoculars and a phone. The food Dula made was beyond expectations. Every night he prepared a three course dinner, starting with soup and homemade bread, followed by several other delicious vegetarian dishes and a nice dessert. On request he made delicious ugali with vegetables. Breakfast and lunch were also very varied and extensive including a lot of nice fruits. The first night we stayed in a nice lodge with a swimming pool. The other two nights we slept in tents on campsites directly between the animals. The tent can be somewhat small for tall persons when lying stretched out. Donβt forget to bring a warm jacket since it can be quite chilly during the early morning drives and at the Ngorongoro campsite.I look back on a fantastic safari! Although we went on a budget safari, it felt like a luxury all-inclusive holiday that I would highly recommend to everyone.Asante sana!
Had one of the best experiences ever in my life. All thanks to Wakanda safari. Meals were exelent, trucks in good conditions, and the most important: the team was charming and very very proffesional. Always trying to do their best. Special thanks to Elia, our driver, guide and now a friend who made our trip even better π€π€. Thank you very much
Very good experience with Wakanda tours late February. Our guide & driver Felix was very knowledgeable, not only on Tanzaniaβs fauna and flora but also on cultural and social aspects of modern life. We did a private tour and the rhythm was done according to our own wishes.Very smooth communication with Bartho which made sure that we felt comfortable upfront. We enjoyed each meal that was cooked for us by Goddi (our Gaudi as his artistic skills in the kitchen made us call him) good variation and solid options. The safari was really all-in, no extra expenses were asked (except for the well-deserved tip of course!). Bartho even arranged transport for us before out safari even started. Our safari was budget oriented, nevertheless the sleeping options were fine and in line with expectations. All in all, we found it excellent and a very good price/quality. Kudos to the team, especially Felix, Goddi and Bartho
Thanks to an exceptional team Bartho , Andrew and Abdullah for creating a magical tour for us to remember rest of our life.Right from start Bartho ensured we are listened to , our special requirements catered to.What a fantastic team Bartho put for us : Andrew the Driver Guide and Abdullah the sous ChefThey had made the experience great whether rain or sunshineAndrew a passionate guide takes all effort to make sure we get to see all animals including birds. His driving skills so far is awe for us , But safety is his paramount. Amazing to hear the insights of animal behaviours, magical sunrise Safari , Serengeti is networked into his amygdala with knowledge of where to spot the animals , which for us was oblivious, his engagement with the passengers teaching Swahili - tons of energy . Best the vehicle is always clean and fresh in the morning.Giving plenty of spots to take wonderful photos and ensuring we are always catered toAbdullah a meditative soul is the top chef in the camp makes the menu taste like a posh restaurant . Attention to detail and catering to each passengers preference. his novel way of baking fresh bread during the Safari using basic amenities amazing just using a temp coal fire and an old tin luggage has to be seen and experienced allowing us to engage in the preparation with the mantraWE ARE A TEAM WE ARE A FAMILYThe Safari starts with a good introduction at Tarangire moving to the adventure at Serengeti and engaging in spotting rhinos at Ngorogoro. The Lake Manyara was ironically not great snd could be dropped. The limitation of Serengeti tickets could be explained earlier so the Safari could be planned accordingly. As we observed all Safari loose time due to this and the long drivesThe campsite experience is magical with elephants grazing , lions growling and Hyneas laughing matching the frequency of guests snoring. If you have energy zip out of the tent take a toilet break and count the stars. You might encounter a zebra or elephant outside waiting to greet you.The fig tree lodges is comfortable settled in the village so you are woken up by prayer calls. The staff smile and serve showing us how important guests is for their livelihood. Please contact Bartho and book your next Safari and ask for Andrew and Abdullah teamWish this continues
I just came back from a 5-days Safari Tour and can absolutely recommend Wakanda where as Tour Operator.I joined an open group. We were 5 people in total and had a great time.Andrew went out of his way to make sure we saw the big 5. He is a very talented driver und very, very knowledgeable about all the animals and wildlife in the parks. He is very experienced as a guide and looks out for everyone to make sure everyone is having a good time. His organization and logistics always worked out. Many thanks to Dullah, the cook. It is very impressive what he can do. There is a big breakfast and lunch and 3 -course dinner everyday. Amazing how he does his βDullah-magicβ with his special DIY oven.Communication with Bartho the owner via WhatsApp was flawless. He almost answers immediately.Thank you very much Wakanda, for the great experience. Keep on going!
Had an amazing time with David and Dula on 5-day safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire through Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris. Bartho, the coordinator, was extremely helpful and very responsive throughout the planning process, helping to select the correct days and tour, advising on where to stay in Arusha prior to the start of the safari, and even helped coordinate a COVID test so that departure was as smooth as possible. The entire safari went off without a hitch, and we saw an amazing array of animals, including the entire big five in one day at Serengeti. David (safari driver) was a great, high-energy tour guide, and we were able to get in a ton of time on game drives and even some shops while sticking to a very busy schedule moving between parks. Both his English and French are excellent, and he had a ton of great stories; I really enjoyed getting to know him. I enjoyed getting to know Dula (cook) equally, and his elaborate meals were easily the best of any tour groups we saw at camps or picnic areas. As far as value, for an all-inclusive safari, I donβt think it can get much better. It was extremely affordable and with high quality food and service. Overall, could not recommend a better safari team, and the experience was unforgettable. Thanks so much yβall!
The communication with Bartho was very professional and he tried his best to accomodate our requests. Chedi, our guide was very informed, took care of us, and was always in a great mood! Dula, our cook prepared amazing food for us and always ensured we had smth new to experience! Overall an unforgettable safari experience!
Andrew the tour guide made this trip 5 stars..wouldnt want any other tour guide ! Thanks Andrew hope you see this ! The chef was also surprisingly good.. baked fresh bread everyday with very limited access to everything. Thanks wakanda for this experience
I highly recommend going on safari with Wakanda. We booked a 6-day group camping safari with Wakanda and our expectations were exceeded. Organization and communication in advance was easy and quick. Our guide, Elia, was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and put a lot of effort in making this an exceptional experience for everyone in our group of 5. There was not a single question he was unable to answer. Our chef Sule prepared very tasty and extraordinary meals for us, and he even accommodated wishes for vegetarian food on the trip. So, if you want a well-organized safari with an incredible guide and cook, on top reasonably priced, book a tour with Bartho and Wakanda.
We had a great experience with Serengeti Wakanda Tours. We did the budget safari and everything was perfectly arranged. We had great contact with Bartho before the safari, we could ask him anything and he was always quick to respond. Our guide Malissa was amazing and went out of his way to show us everything we asked to see and more. Our cook Doula made sure we had an amazing three course meal every night. Where other safaritours had standard lunch packages we always had a warm meal for lunch with the choice of different dishes. The lodges we stayed in were pretty basic but okay. The one in Serengeti was our favourite as it was in the middle of the park and giraffes would great us at breakfast. Overall it was definitely worth the money!
Been dreaming about a safari since i saw david attenboroughs documentaries as a child. Would have been happy if i had seen a lion, or a giraffe in the wild. Our amazing guide literally showed us hundreds of elephants, giraffes. And without exagurating, millions of other animals. He even delivered on the big five. Saw no less than 7 different rhinosπ€ π².The lodges that we stayed in where just perfect as well.I can go on and on... Nothing but good words for this company. Thanks again to bartho for putting together a custom safari for us.And many thanks to felix, for making it an experience of a lifetime. A rare gem of a guide. Spotted animals when all other cars just drove past. Has an incredible knowledge about birds to.Honestly, if you want a perfect safari, book with bartho, and ask for felix. I guarantee you wont be disappointed
For most of us, the adventure of a wild safari in Africa is something we can only expect to experience once in a lifetime. With so much expectation and desire riding on such a trip, its little wonder that choosing a tour company can frustratingly difficult. Wakanda safaris lived up to all our expectations and then some, facilitating an experience neither I or my friends will ever forget. The outstanding organisation, communication, local knowledge, and general amiability of everyone involved all contributed towards our adventure in Tanzanias national parks. We visited the Serengeti, Ngoro Ngoro, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. We saw lions, hippos, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos (at a distance!), giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, baboons, and a plethora of other species that I either cant remember, or dont know the name of! Aside from the national parks and animals, we enjoyed countless authentic cultural experiences at the various towns and villages along the way.Our five day/four night safari included two nights in a hotel and two nights camping. The hotel was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. When camping, everything was taken care of, so all we had to do was enjoy a couple of drinks while discussing the sights of the day and enjoy the night sky full of stars. The chef/cook that traveled with us put together an impressive feast for us each night; the source of envy for tours staying at the same campsites. Our guide, Melisa and our chef, Dula, were at the same time both professional and incredibly fun. In most national parks, wed regularly hear the crackle of the CB radio, with others asking Melisa where the animals were!It goes without saying that I would recommend this safari, and have already done so with many of my friends and colleagues. Im not exactly sure how Wakanda Safaris compares in terms of price at the time that youre reading this, but I will say that, for such a once in a lifetime experience, its worth choosing a tour company that obviously has a passion for what they do, such as Wakanda.
My experience with Serengeti Wakanda Tours was amazing!! I did a 5 day Safari tour and everything was well organized, we were with Malisa as a guide and he has a lot of knowledge about the animals and their routines. He was able to spot them out of nowhere and knew the perfect time and place to get to see them! He was always surprising us!!I also liked that he was respectful with them and nature :)The places we stayed were really nice! I took the budget program and didnt felt like that at all!And the food....was really good too!! After a couple of hours in the Safari it was always nice to be received with that delicious food! It was always warm and different dishes (we saw a lot of people eating cold sandwiches) and with Dullah, our cook, we felt always super spoiled!Would totally repeat this experience with them!
The best hike of my LIFE!To book the amazing Kilimanjaro Tour with Wakanda Safaris was the best choice for me! At the beginning I had some doubts... if I would be able to hike the biggest Mountain of africa?! Bartho and our Guide - Babaluu tooked my fear of it away. The tour was well organized and everything went smoothly. They made daily some healthy- checks, took always care about us and made sure that we ate and drunk enough. When we arrived the Camp the tent was already there and very delicious food was being prepared.I definitely will recommend to book your Kilimanjaro-Trip with these Guys!ASANTE SANA for everything to the whole team!
I traveled to Tanzania in September 2021 with my girlfriend and two friends. We booked a 6 day private safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours.First of all at the time of payment we had problems with our bank, so we asked Bartho (the president of the company) if it was possible to pay in cash and if we could do it two days before starting the safari (since didnt want to go with so much cash the days before in Arusha). Bartho had no problem and came to our hotel, where he also explained our itinerary and more practical things about Arusha. On the first day we met Malissa and Sule, our guide and cook respectively. Regarding the food, the truth is that our expectations were easy meals as sandwiches, but Sule surprised us even in the most remote part of the Serengeti with three or four different dishes that mixed international food with a local dish. During the safari we stayed in a humble hotel (but with a swimming pool) the first and last night and the rest of the days in tents (sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti or the Ngorongoro is quite an experience).Malissas ability to identify animals from afar and get closer to the most optimal place to see them more closely and the knowledge of infinite data of each of the animals we saw is something to highlight. In addition, his pleasant treatment and his closeness (also that of Sule) made us feel among friends throughout the safari. In short, we have all been delighted with the safari and I recommend to everyone who wants to live this experience, to choose Serengeti Wakanda Tours.
The Safari was absolutely amazing!!!If we would have to rate it it would be a 10/10. The Food was amazing, which suprised us as there is no real kitchen available. So Dennis did an amazing job!!! Also, Andrew was the best Guide one could ask for. He gave us precise information about the animals which I loved. He could answer any questions we may had (I had a lot of questions haha). Also his personality is very refreshing as he is funny, smart and a very nice guy. So he was just amazing!! So thank you Andrew for making this experience unforgettable. Also the low price was a big bonus point, especially because we didnt miss on anything. All in all we could not have asked for a better Safari, even if we didnβt get to see the big 5 (we will come back for that). So thank you for this nice trip and you can be happy to have such a nice staff. βΊοΈ
My Friend and I had a fantastic experience climbing Kilimanjaro with Wakanda tours. From the very first time we met our guide Babaluu and our assistant guide, Simon, we felt in good, safe hands. At this very competitive price we were positively surprised that oxygen-level-checks and pulse were made morning and evening and our assistant guide even hiked with an oxygen tank at all time, in case we got really sick (this is of course very rare, and did not happen to us, but it is nice they brought it as we felt extra safe). Also all equipment we lent by Babaluu was great: Tent, sleeping bag, gloves. Just everything! Besides being safe in the hands of our fantastic guides, climbing with the team also was a lot of fun. Babaluu and Simon are very easy to talk with about concerns or just telling funny stories and the mood was always high. What really blew us away was the quality of the food! Our cook James prepared some incredible meals on the mountain and though high altitude may put your appetite a bit off we always found some stomach space for James food!Putting it short: yes we can definitely recommend climbing with Wakanda tours, Babaluu and Simon! Besides being a really good climbing experience we need to also say that dealing with company owner, Bartho, at all times was a great experience! He quickly replies any question you may have and meeting him in person just confirmed how professional, nice and helpful he really is!
Safari tours by using wakanda company was the best. The staff was very kind and professional. They were explaining all things around the tour. Food was excellent, very tasty and the chef was very careful for us, also driver was very friendly. We spent unforgettable 5 days with this guys . Thanks for everything β€οΈ
Everything was perfect, we had the chance to explore 3 parks in 4 days, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We have no regrets about booking this safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris. Everything was very well organized so that our stay was complete and we could enjoy the parks and the animals to the fullest. The team was very professional and made sure we didnt miss anything. Throughout our stay we were able to enjoy Wi-Fi, drinks, beers and wines to our liking and a great campfire on our nights in the park (get some CHAMALLOWS, everyone will be happy!!!). One of the advantages of camping is that the comforters, mattresses and tents are included and set up for you!Beyond all these advantages, we really had an exceptional time thanks to our guide Andrew, and cook Dullah!Andrew is an amazing guide, he explained everything we needed to know about the animals and the parks (Andrew also speaks French very well), he was attentive to what we saw or thought we saw! Andrew knows the parks by heart, and I am convinced that it is a little thanks to him that we were able to see so many animals! As for Dullah! I cant tell you how delicious his cooking was... Moreover, I am vegetarian and he cooked some dishes just for me!A word to Bartho, the organizer of this exceptional trip, without whom none of this would have been possible! I can therefore assure you that you will make the right choice with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris. To sum up this adventure we discovered a real other world in which we felt complete and incredibly happy! I wish you all the best for this incredible experience. Thanks to Bartho, Andrew and Dullah.
We chose to do a 4 days safari to see all 3 natural parcs (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro), and we trusted Wakanda Serengeti to organize it for us. By far the best decision we made !!Let me tell you why:Bartho, your first contact and the organizator, understood our wants and needs and offered us the best solution, always with a smile :)We had the best time with our guide Andrew and our cook Dullah ! Andrew speaks great French and is an awesome guide ! Funny, charming, nice and most importantly he spots animals anywhere and makes sure we have time to admire everything.Dullah is an amazing cook, very nice and really accommodating (he made sure to prepare some food especially for our vegetarian friend). We slept in tents inside the parcs, very comfortably and safely. Even though we were on the road all day, our meals were always warm and beautiful. Table cloth, cutlery, several dishes, it was a feast everyday in the middle of dirt road and breathtaking landscapes !As for the landscapes and the animals, there are no words β¦Just an overall incredible experience π
We did the Safari with Andrew und Dennis (guide and cook) and were very happy. Both of them were very pleasant and open. Andrew seemd very very experienced with spotting animals and driving around. We enjoyed having his company. He answered all our questions about the Massai or the life in Tanzania in general and explained so much to us. The food was also very great but we could not finish it. It was a nice mix of Tanzanian food and food we were used to.Even if we didnt like the boss of the company - he is very focused on taking your money - his people he is working with are truly the best. I wish Andrew and Dennis all the best!
Fabulous guide called Elia - incredibly professional, enthusiastic and engaging. Ate dinner with us every evening, which was lovely. Dullah was a brilliant chef and cooked fantastic food throughout the trip
We were a group of 4 people (2 couples) and chose to do the 5 day safari. Before our trip, everything was clearly and we knew that the organization was going to be good. During our arrival and the safari, we were always greeted by awesome service starting with Bartho (the owner) and then by our guide (Zamo) and chef (Dennis) with whom we spent the most of our time with. The safari was an amazing experience thanks to them as we spotted all the animals we wanted to see and even more as we were lucky to see the big 5. Our guide Zamo was always conscious of the animals and the surroundings, always respecting them and their distance, something we didnt see in other tours. He made sure to give us time to spot animals, gave us relevant information and keep us entertained. He kept the car clean always and had small details which made our experience way better. Dennis cooked always great food that were not too heavy for tourists but always really tasty in flavor (we had prepared meals for lunch while other groups had sandwiches), he was always super attentive and in a great mood. Overall our experience was one of a kind thanks to them, definitely great value for the price. We could see other tours which had similar offerings, didnt have small details as us. I would recommend to anyone who wants to do a safari, for any budget as they will be able to accommodate to your needs.
Gonna start by saying that I canβt possibly imagine how this experience could have gone better - outstanding organization, communication, knowledge ofβ¦everything! (fauna, landscapes, history, culture etc.), great accommodation, exquisite food and, to top it all off, beautiful and kind people that took care of us every minute of the 8 days we were there.I traveled with my sister and we were both equally impressed by this company which is truly a dream team:The owner - In organizing the tour, Bartho was super responsive, patient and flexible with our multiple requests and last-minute changes to the route and accommodations (he even got us a WiFi modem in the car, just cause weβre weird tourist who canβt function without internet). The guide - our guide was Malisa, which in all honesty is the best guide, person and presence we could have hoped for. Super friendly, funny, kind and amenable to all our desires (desires and needs that spanned 24-60+ age range, so pretty diverse ), but most importantly very knowledgeable and able to spot literally every animal. Seriously, the man has eagle eyes and some sort of superhuman skills, cause every time we wished for a particular animal, Malisa would take just minutes until finding us exactly what we wished for. Malisa also has profound knowledge and respect for nature/animals and the Tanzanian culture/tribes, which to us was quite impressive. The chef β Dullah could probably move on and cook for a fancy restaurant - for future tourists of Serengeti Wakanda, I hope this doesnβt happen. All jokes aside, Dullah is a fantastic chef. The food he prepared was diverse, but equally tasty on any given day. The ingredients were fresh and he always provided options for all type of dietary preferences (regular/vegan/vegetarian/). Just as a bonus, Dullah is also a super nice and funny person.Additional to the above, everything we needed was included: wine, beer, tents, sleeping bags, binoculars and the accommodations were exactly what we expected - the pictures Bartho sent us were 100% accurate. All in all, we were quite impressed with Bartho and his team and definitely a fan and a promotor from hereon. Thank you so much for taking care of us and making this experience a unique and memorable one!
I really enjoyed my trip. That was incroyable experience. I saw so many animals. The guide Chedi is so funny and he taught us so much about animals and culture of the country. The foods making by the cook was really tasty. The owner Bartho is extremely understanding and he make sure that everything is perfect.Itβs worth it, I recommend.
Everything was amazing. Since the begining our trip was excellent. Super organization- route, views, advanture, camps, food. Our guide Andrew knows a lot about nature, is very practiced and experienced man, who patiently explained us everything what we needed and wanted to know. Especially friendly to our son answered him the many many questions which our son had. He looked for very consistently animals to show us, so we had lucky to see big five and many, many more. We saw two rhinos crossing the road close to us, few meters. Our cook Dula made the extra tasty food, he could enchant dinner as the best restaurant during camp and Safari, having all products in small mobile box !Bartho from Wakanda has amazing and professional team. Bartho was very helpfull me before our travel. He always texted me with answers, when I needed help to orgenize travel to Tanzania.I recomend Wakanda team with Andrew and Dula very, very much.
We had 8 days camping safari on low season.Barto, the organizer, answered very fast and everything was organized very well. Our driver Malissa was a good driver, had a lot of experience and took us to places where I thought we saw more than an average safari tourist. I counted that we saw about 60 lions, 6 cheetahs, 2 leopards, and 2 rhinos. The food was fresh and excellent, thanks to Dullah.Equipment was good and camping with the wild animals was very exciting.I have to say that camping is camping, not the five-star hotel so dont expect that.I also saw that all safari organizers are not very good ones and we were very happy with ours.Special thanks, our recommendation, and greetings to Simon the Driver!
My husband and I went on a 5 day honeymoon trip to Tanzania in May 2021. Our honeymoon was organized with Luis, he was so helpful, treated us with so much kindness, and patience. Every request we made was met. We were quite nervous about booking a trip during COVID-19 and had a lot of questions about Tanzaniaβs protocols and Bartho response time was really quick and he informed us of everything we should expect. Serengeti Wakanda tours and safaris took a lot of precautions to make sure we were safe. Luis also created the best itinerary for us! The amount of effort to make us feel good about our choice was the sweetest guesture and it left us speechless. Our trip was so organized and so well thought out. Once we arrived in Tanzania our guide Andrew worked very hard to make sure we saw all of nature and the beauty Tanzania has to offer. He was so amazing, we are very grateful towards him. Andrew was very educated and taught us a lot about nature and we had the best experience with him. We became a family and it was the biggest take away for me. We would start our adventures at 8 am everyday. Andrew though would be up 2 hours before to make sure the cruiser was in tip top shape and properly sanitized so our day would go very smoothly. Every hotel we stayed at was impeccable. We were treated with so much kindness and care. We truly believe we could never experience something like this in any other country with any other tour. On the safari it was very clear the difference in the way Serengeti Wakanda tours and safaris treated clients than other companies did. Every day we received the best hot lunches and Andrew took us to the best places first. We were always first on the scene and saw the best show! We saw the big 5 animals, we saw the great migration of 2 million wildebeest crossing the Maya river, We saw the most intense hunts just a few meters from our vehicle. It was the most surreal experience watching live what we would see on National Geographic. The most surprising thing for me was how breathtaking the landscape was. Every morning we would see the most glorious sunrises and every night we would be humbled with the most beautiful sunsets. The noise you hear when it is completely silent in the wilderness is a phenomenon I cannot explain. We heard the thunder of the wildebeest footsteps, we heard the Erie laughing of hyenas near our camp at night, we heard the magnificent roaring of Lions and the trumpeting of Elephants always left us speechless and in awe. We live in Canada and it is currently the dead of winter, we reminisce about our trip constantly and the beautiful weather in Tanzania everyday. Our videos and stories has made all of our friends and family praying to go to Tanzania and get the chance we got. We will always recommend Serengeti Wakanda tours and safaris to everyone we know. Thank you very much Serengeti Wakanda tours and safaris and if we could come back we definitely will come back to Tanzania in a heart beat. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have the best honeymoon any couple could possibly have. If you are thinking about booking a trip to Tanzania, you will not regret it! Book with Serengeti Wakanda tours and safaris to get the best experience of your life!
Serengeti wakanda tours was the operator my Consultant chose for a 4 day/3 night safari. His suggestion did not disappoint. We were picked up by the driver, and met the Operations Manager at a mall in Arusha, who confirmed our itinerary. Upon confirmation, we met our driver, Andrew, who was magnificent and went above and beyond our expectations. My favorite part of working with Aly was his making sure we were in a good position to see the animals, and if not, to position the vehicle in a way where we had a better view. For someone who traveled over 24 hours, this kind of service is priceless.
Our trip was planned by Bartho and fitted our plans excellently. The price was competitive and everything put in place seamlessly. Pricing is transparent and easy to understand. The trip itself was everything we hoped for. We saw so much wildlife in six days and every day was different. The highlight was a cheetah kill but there was so much that was memorable. Lodges worked out well and tented camps were great. We had hot/ warm lunches with wine and were the envy of other companiesβ clients. Our guide Malissa spotted so much and his knowledge was encyclopaedic. Overall it was outstanding and even when floods prevented us getting to our scheduled camp a replacement was arranged to prevent an overnight in the jeep. Canβt wait for the next one!
I did a 5 days safari with them. We had a wonderful group of nice and funny people and our tour guide Malisa was I think the best tour guide you could ever wish for. He was so nice, funny and able to answer all of our questions. Due to him we were able to see all big fives... He told us to get up early so that we also get to see the more night active animals like the cheetahs. The food was great and the overnight stays in the Serengeti where the Hyenas joined us had been just incredible. During the night you could hear the hyenas laughing and the lions roaring as if they were just close to you. If your a wildlife fan, you shouldnt miss that opportunity. Even now when I see my pictures and videos I cant stop smiling. An experience I will never forget. Thank you so much for making this an amazing memory of my life.
Our groups experience with Serengeti wakanda tours and safaris far exceeded expectations, from beginning to end. The flexibility and promptness provided by their customer service team was exceptional, allowing us to plan and customize our trip that met all of our requests within our budget. Andrew, our guide was extremely knowledgeable about Tanzania, the culture, the animals, and the history. He provided excellent guidance and service to our group, had a great sense of humor, and navigated the tough terrain in the Tarangire, Ngorogoro Crater, and Serengeti like a true pro! We saw so many incredible animals, ate delicious (hot!) food during our game drives, and enjoyed the beautiful Tanzania landscape. The transportation pickups and transfers to and within Zanzibar towards the latter half of our trip went perfectly as well. Andrew and Serengeti wakanda tours and safaris made our trip truly unforgettable. Highly highly recommend Serengeti wakanda tours and safaris as the premier safari tour operator!
We did a 5 days family Safari with Zanzibar and Pemba beach extension in May 2021 withSerengeti Wakanda tours. We started to plan and finally did our trip during COVID-19 pandemic. I love Africa, but have never been in Tanzania before, the main reason to choose this destination was that it was COVID-19 free and open for tourist from my country. I can say, that for the first moment it was not so easy to decide to start planning this travel. I started with lookinginformation about travel companies and found the site of Serengeti Wakanda tours is full of information, easy to navigate and their safari packages looks good. I decided to send a request and receivedthe answer very quickly. We have communicated only via email and it was very smooth process, all proposals were very details and most questions were answered before I asked them. This fact added many challenges to the planning process. But our organizer Burton was absolutelywonderful and did everything to makethis journey possible. We changed the flights, changed the hotelsβ not because we wish to do that, but because the flights cancellation and hotels closing. And finally, itwas a smooth and flawless journey. I also must mention separately that Bartho gave me very detailed information about what to take with us and what not to take in our luggage, so through all the journey we felt that we have exactly what we needDuring the beach part we changed 3 locations and all hotels and transfers process exceeded our expectations.During the safari part, We booked for group safari but Bartho the Owner convinced us to go with a PRIVATE JEEP (PRIVATE SAFARI TRIP), which it was an astonishing choice for us *family* during corona time, we have been at Ngorongoro, Southern and Central Serengeti and Tarangire NP.Our guide Andrew is very professional, well educated and very pleasant in all communication momentsperson. From the first to the last minute, we were comfortable and safe to make our journey with him.We are a family with 5 years old boy and Andrew always respect to all needs of our youngest traveller. My son really like him, and this is the best confirmation of all above. It was a period with very small number of tourists, not surprisingly, in most of our safari camps we werethe only guests during our stay. Thanks to this we saw huge number of animals and many predators very close to the car.I can recommend Serengeti Wakanda tours as professional and responsible safari/Tanzania travel provider. Allour family are dreaming to come again to this wonderful country, and it is perfect to know who canmake our journey unforgettable.
From the first moment I had approached Serengeti Wakanda tours, I got the feeling I was dealing with professional people here, who would have made my trip unforgettable.I was contacted by a journey designer (Bartho in my case, who I cant thank enough!) who illustrated me the different options for a safari in Tanzania. It didnt matter how big or small my questions were, he has always replied within 24h to my emails, which is not given everywhere. We first paid 50% of the total, and then the rest 50% a month before our trip. The payment is a money transfer, which went smooth like butter.Weve landed in Kilimanjaro airport, and a representative of the company was waiting for us there to take us to our accommodation. The next 5 days were priceless; our driver and tour guide was very kind, perfect english and very helpful in explaining the culture of Tanzania, the landscape, the country etc.He was very knowledgable and spotted animals way before we did :)The lunch is provided by the company, and Ive noticed the lunch from Serengeti Wakanda Tours is way better than most of the other tour operators. To begin with, its a hot lunch. Weve always had a different main every time, rice, a side, plus fruit and coffee (and wine or water of course). Most of the tour operators only give you a lunch box, which is a sandwich. The accommodations picked by Serengeti wakanda tours were really good. We went for the basic ones, and they all had AC in the room, WiFi, etc. Not much more you can ask for, plus you can check them out before you book, so you know which place you are getting. If you are planning on going to a Safari in Tanzania, look no further and go with them, I highly recommend them!
We booked a trip to Tanzania for January 2020, with the main objective to go in a safari. After reading the reviews, we concluded that the best option was Wakanda Safari with the 5 days budget safari trip, so we would have enough time to enjoy the parks. We landed in Arusha city one day before the trip start and Bartho, the owner of the company, picked us up from the airport. We spent the first night at Arusha tourist inn, which is a nice accomodation for every tourist in transit. During the trip we slept 2 night in a budget lodge and 2 nights camping (what an experince!!! My personal favourite was the night spend in Ngorongoro, the view was the best!)The next day we met our driver Jackson and our chef Dulla. We traveled with 4 more people in the car: a smart belgian, a cool american and 2 nice swedes. Our guide-driver Jackson knew the best places to spot animals, even the rarest ones such as cheetas and leopards; he was trully amazing as he saw the animals from far distance, without binocculars!! He explained a lot of interesting things about wildlife so the whole car ride was a pleasure. He gave us the time to admire the animals and the surroundings without rushing. Besides being an excelent driver, Jsckson did his best to spot the Big 5 so a big thank you to him! Also, a nice surprise for us was that it was baby season :).Unlike other tourists who were eating sandwiches, we always had tasty cooked food( rice, meat, vegetables). Dulla is an amazing chef, we loved his dishes and appreciate his efforts as we always had at least one main dish and always dessert and fresh fruits. Imagine cooking pie and fresh bread in the middle of the park, fantastic!Last but no least, Bartho was very responsive and helpful. He went with us to exchange money and gave us nice tips about where to eat ( try Kami caffe, it was Barthos recoomandation and its a really nice place with good food. You should try the fresh smoothies!) and what to do in the 2 days spend in Arusha. He also gave us a ride back to the airport and even helped us renting a car for Zanzibar. If you dont know what to choose, we highly recommend Wakanda Safari! The team is amazing and you will surely have an amazing experince.Thank you guys for everything!
I had a game-drive in January 2021. With a friend of mine, we visited Lake Manyare, Tarangire and Ngorongoro. All three parks are very different, canβt even say which of them I liked the most. Nature was terrific! That was an amazing experience! All was good. Accommodation - simple but clean. Food was extremely delicious. Our cook Abdullah indulged us with fine dishes every day. How he could manage all of those even pastry with a quite limited recourse that is a mystery for me. Safari car with a pop-up roof was very convenient, they envisage even sockets there. They provided us with unlimited bottled water; we had also beer and wine. Our driver Malisa was an experienced guide. Educated us a lot about wildlife as well as taught us some Swahili and explained the traditions and life of locals. He was very helpful, attentive, proactive and friendly. Due to him, we had really great time. Many thanks!Cannot but say I was pleasantly surprised with Serengeti Wakanda Toursβ punctuality, professionalism and cordiality. When in Africa again, for sure I will choose you guys for my new game-drive ))
5 day group safari tour with Wakanda has been incredible. This company is a dream team. Bartho, who organizes the whole thing, is very quick to response to any questions via email or whatsapp. Malissa is a great tour guide. He knows all the animal spots and their behaviors. Thanks to him, we saw the great 5 multiple times and much more than that. He doesnt rush to just get a photo of each animal. Instead, you can observe animals behaviours, like hunting, eating, interacting with others. Above all that, Malissa is very kind and with him the whole group felt like close friends. Last but not least is Dula who will prepare you fresh meals every day. In his magic oven he will bake you fresh bread or buns and will surprise you with fresh cookies when you are having a coffee. I cant imagine how this experience could be better. I highly recommend Wakanda Tours and Safaris!
Picked up promptly by our fabulous guide, Daniel. Visit to the waterfalls which was amazing and Daniel very helpful assisting a lady with a dodgy knee. Visit to coffee plantation although a bit touristy did give you an insight to how this tribe lived years ago. Coffee was divine (even to a non-coffee drinker.Trip to hot springs was great, food was good. Car was clean and comfortable. All in all a fabulous day which weβd highly recommend. Thanks Daniel πππ
Me and my friend took a safari with Wakanda on Jan. 25-27, 2021. I was afraid safari planning would be the most difficult part of the trip in terms of planning and communication but it wasnt the case. Well, it took me some time looking throught the numerous tour agencies but whoever is reading this - lucky you - search no further, youve found the best one ;)In all the seriousness, the service of Wakanda tours is outstanding, communication is easy and straightforward, all your questions are answered and needs are tended to.Our tour guide Malisa gave us a brief university course about the land and wildlife. He also is the best at spotting wild life and probably extremely lucky )) The cook Abdulla is a magician, the food was always top notch, provided we had some gluten free people and vegetarian.Highly recommended!!P.S. Bring some extra money, nobody would demand tips from you, but trust me, you would love to express your thanks!
We had a wonderful day in Tarangire!Malisa was the best: he was so motivated to show us every animal around us, we saw a zebra giving birth, a snake hidden in a tree... - Things we wouldnβt have recognized with our eyes.He knows a lot about the environment and the animals and you can feel that heβs doing his job with his whole heart. The food was delicious! Dulla was so creative to cook something in his self made oven and prepared a lot of fresh food for us.The whole team is so passionate about their work - you can feel it!Bartho is always there for you. As the safari company owner he gives his best to answer quickly and to give you the feeling that heβs always around and with you on your trip.
We loved everything in this tour. Bartho did a nice negotiating, with clear details. Our guide Praise and our cook Sule were amazing too, both providing a great service. I would recommend this company for everyone.
My favorite part was when we visited Serengeti National Park., we got to see all the Big 5 in the two days drive in Serengeti and that was the utmost highlightπ. Those planning to go to safari in future., just make the most of every bit, ITS WORTHYπ
If you anyone want to safari contact (serengeti Wakanda tour and safari) is way to go, best service on time. Customize your trip low budget to high quality hotels. Give a try, serengeti Wakanda is the best.
Great safari, with good company
We found Wakanda Tours & Safaris on tripadvisor where they were recommended because of their tent safaris. We contacted them directly and Bartho the owner tailored our private tour (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) and adapted it to our travel itinary. We selected a 5 days Safari tour, but instead of a camping Safari we chose a loge and tented lodge safari. We decided to book with Wakanda because we liked their offer and what was included, we also liked that Bartho answered all our questions quickly and we wanted to book with a local agency. We never regretted our choice. The Safari was amazing and such an unforgettable time. We got great service upon arrival until we left for Sansibar. We were picked up at the airport and spent our first night in Arusha in a nice hotel. In the afternoon we visited Arusha. The next day we were picked up by our guide Elia . Elia is a very nice and funny guy. He is extremly knowledgable about animals and the nature. He was extremly attentive and tried to fulfill all our wishes. We saw everything we could wish for. Also we learned a lot about the people in Tanzania and the culture. Elia is also a very good driver, which helped us a lot when the street at the Ngorongoro carter was nearly blocked, muddy and slippery.Wakanda encourages the logdges to cook fresh food for the lunch. We took them out in pots which Elia brought with him from Arusha. The food was always very good and due to the pots we did not have any waste. We had unforgettable days with Elia.In general, we were impressed about the very good service we experienced in every lodge and the good food. Also the cleanliness about of bathrooms in Tanzania in general. At the end of the Safari Bartho took the time to meet us and ask us about our Safari experience. Our experience could not have been better. One day we will go back to Tanzania and we will defenitely book again with Wakanda Tours & Safaris.
The most amazing safari tour to go on! I did the 6 day budget safari and it was far better than I had ever imagined. We had Andrew as our guide and you could tell he loved his job and was passionate about the animals. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing week and answered all the questions we had. The food was amazing and you definitely wonβt be hungry during this safari. Best week of my life and I felt like I was part of a real family on this trip. Thanks guys! You are awesome!
Serengeti, ngorongoro and tarangire national parkthis was really a great experience offered to us by serengeti wakanda tours and safaris! we were a group of five people (a couple, two friends and a woman traveling alone). the tour lasted five days: three in the serengeti, one in the ngorongoro crater and one in the tarangire national park.we were very lucky, because despite the beginning of the rainy season, it only rained three times (at night).andrew our guide and driver made it possible for us to experience all the big five! moreover, during the migration of the animals, we were able to see thousands of zebras and wildebeests up close. elephants, hyenas, leopards, monkeys, warthogs, impalas, gazelles, and countless species of birds have also passed by our off-road vehicle. the toyota land cruiser, which can accommodate up to six people, is well equipped. it also has a large pop-up roof.the selected campgrounds and budget lodges were all perfectly adequate. Here you are really close to nature. You shouldnt expect luxury at this price!our chef, abdullah, surprised us every day. we were really speechless at the simple means he used to conjure up a delicious three-course menu for us every day (lunchtime and evening). There was always both fresh meat and a vegetarian option. After each meal we were served coffee and tea. He even baked fresh bread every day. for breakfast there was, in addition to eggs, sausage, toast and crΓͺpes, jam, honey and peanut butter.when we got stuck in the mud with our car, all the guides got together and pulled it out of the mud. pure adventure!we would recommend this tour to our friends at any time!
I went on a shared safari with Wakanda for 4 days, the experience was incredible! The Serengeti offers a great diversity of animals and the adventure is well worth it, it makes you feel like an explorer, in search of the most difficult animals to see. Andrew our guide allowed us to see cheetahs, lions, leopards, in addition to the other most present animals, a great adventure!
After contacting several agencies we finally decided to book our 5-day safari with SERENGUETI WAKANDA TOURS AND SAFARIS for two reasons, the first because no agency gave us a 5-day group safari for such a good price and the second because it was precisely what we were looking for, to be able to sleep some night in the lodge and others in a tent in the middle of savanah, a safari with perfect mixed accommodation !. We must add that we are also completely satisfied as it exceeded our expectations, the team is highly qualified and they are very professional. The program is very well done since you can see several parks and in our case all the animals! . The cook fed us all the way through the safari an excellent and lovingly cooked meal. We are very grateful to the whole team: barthoo, ben, andrew, chardy, keep it up !!!!
Serengeti Wakanda offers really nice safari tours that I can warmly recommend to everyone. Everything has been thought of, people, nature and animals are well taken care of and a lot is explained. I would particularly like to highlight Andrew as a guide and thank him for the unforgettable tour.It should also be mentioned that each park is special in its own way and that it is worth visiting several.Serengeti Wakanda offers amazing safari tours and I really recommend them. Everything is well prepared, they explain a lot and take well care about persons, nature and animals. Especially Andrew did an amazing job and I really want to say thank you for an unforgettable trip.Every park is special in its own way, so its nice to see more than one, when its possible.
A budget safari with a quality of service above expectations: Comfortable vehicle, very professional guide, excellent chef (chef level), all really included in the price, accommodation in simple but very comfortable lodges and camping in tents good quality igloo type (comfortable, really waterproof, etc.).
100% satisfied.Bartho, who prepared a tailor-made safari for us at the end of January, and Elia, who accompanied us throughout the trip, are not only exceptional professionals, but are also people worthy of all trust and of great kindness and simplicity. The organization and all the animals were 100% there...5 parks...Leopards, Lions of course, several packs of elephants that passed us, cheetah, rino, Serval, etc...Thank you BarthoTHANK YOU Elia100% unstoppable
Very good service on the safari, comfortable and what one needs most is good vibes. We met Bartho and Elia, they both received us very well and were always present. One of the best trips Ive ever done.
We did a 4 day Safari in Tanzania. The experience has been incredible from start to finish. Communication with Bartho to plan the safari was perfect. It helps you absolutely in everything you need and responds to messages without delay. The safari was excellent thanks to our guide, Andrew, and our chef, Dullah. Andrew is the best guide you can have: he knows facts about all the animals, he is funny, nice, he leaves you the time you need to take the photos and every day he explains the daily planning. And the safari got even better thanks to Dullah: every day he cooks you different, varied and tasty dishes. If you have any need for food they take it into account. Undoubtedly, during the Safari it is where I ate the best in Tanzania ... and especially if we compare it with all the other safari that had cold food and always the same.In short, a wonderful experience that we will remember for a lifetime. We will definitely do a Safari with Serengeti Wakanda again!
I highly recommend this experience. Mike Mollel was our guide, the best without a doubt. Thank you very much Mike, because without you this experience would not have been the same. He has been a generous, kind man, always willing to be well, to make you feel comfortable and to do not lack anything. He goes out of his way because you see as many animals as possible, always ready for anything ... hes the best. The chef was amazing too !!!
Incredible experience. In 6 days, we saw most of the parks near Arusha. The landscapes are magnificent, especially the Serengeti. We even had the chance to see the Big 5 even though it was starting to be out of season.Special mention to the staff who made this excursion unforgettable. Andrew our guide was absolutely brilliant. He is funny, he speaks French and he is hot to answer all questions. Dont hesitate to ask for it, its worth it. Dullah the cook has made magic with next to nothing, and Bartho manages the whole organization with efficiency, good humor and kindness.I left alone, I came back with lots of friends and lots of photos.Frankly, I was freaked out to book such a long and cheap tour, but camping is the genius idea for backpackers who dont want to break the bank.In short, go for it!
