The tour is interesting but you can find cheaper price directly at the duty free of the airport with nicer design. This way you dont need to worry about your gems during the trip.

We had a good introduction to tanzanite at the Tanzanite Experience in Arusha.We went through a mini-tour (including an informative video) about tanzanites, starting from how its formed, to determining the quality of the polished stone.Ally took care of the whole process for us. He was helpful; and never pushy to force us to buy an item. We ended up buying tanzanite with excellent bVI color.

Wanted to rectify that now with genuine article so contacted Tanzanite Experience whose response was all that I hoped for but not sure Id receive given the distance involved.Very pleased to say that Customer Relations Manager Junaid Khan and his colleagues gave me great service over an extended period of very trying circumstances including Covid 19 issues and shipping difficulties. I chose and was provided with a beautiful custom-made Tanzanite & Diamond ring for my wifes birthday. All from 10,000 kms distance. Final transit from depart Dubai to delivery UK achieved in 24 hours.On the basis of my experience I rate TE and Junaid Khan very highly and have no hesitation in recommending them. I placed my trust in them, they exceeded my expectations and they did not let me down

Very interesting and eye opener. I learnt so much I did not know about Tanzanites. Even being born and raised in Arusha and exposed to Tanzanite stones for many years of our life, I still managed to be amazed with the knowledge I gained from visiting the museum. I also bought a very nice pendant for my wife birthday. The quality of the stones are very nice.

Fun little tour. Only took about 30min for the free and informative tour. I was with friends and 3 of us purchased loose stones. The staff was very helpful. I’m excited to have my stone appraised here in the states.

Learnt alot about how Tanzanite is mined, graded and polished to the end product. The staff are professional and they take time to explain everything about the rare gem and they will help you make an informed choice...and there is a chance to get the product duty free if you are a tourist 😃

The architecture replicates the mine shaft that has been designed with the intention of showcasing the tanzanite mining experience. The set up of the Tanzanite Experience has been delicately planned to ensure that visitors live and experience the wealth of this unique stone.Apart from the architectural design, the beautiful screening of the short documentary showing the mining of the tanzanite stone was very revealing and puts into context this unique experience.The highlight of my visit, aside from the most incredible warm reception and offerings of tea/coffee and refreshments, was the incredible display of a huge selection of jewelry and tanzanite stones in all the widest array of shades and sizes and in all their sparkling elegance and magnificent packagings.It was refreshing to know that the stones were cut locally and all the designs done locally using locally-made tools.I have lived and worked in Arusha for over 15 years. A truly special experience for those who want to know a little better the history of stone. Upon arrival we were offered coffee and biscuits and then continued a visit lasting about twenty minutes, all free.

If there are indeed very beautiful Tanzanites with many choices, the prices are overpriced, search the shops less bling bling for the best prices.
