A pleasant place to stay over for a few days. Comfortable king size bed, breakfast included is quite good with tea, milk tea, coffee, fruit, toasts and omelette. The place where breakfast is served is just in the middle of the complex, luminous and airy. The rooms are around it, with vegetation on the walls, beautiful environment.The staff is amazing, always keen to help and make you welcome and comfortable. Strong Wifi signal. 24H reception. Location is close to everything in town. Mineral water available 24H.Only 4 stars because IMO the room should have a fan, TV remote control didnt work and signal was very poor, Hot water is a NO, even if you wait for a few minutes as I was told. Room is pretty basic and mosquito net a bit dirty.Fair price.

This place is superb. Great location. Good service and very friendly personnel. Nice breakfast in the morning. Green plants on the exterior walls makes it feel peaceful. They have like this living space with a library. Outdoor chilling chairs. Best hostel in Arusha I can say.

Meh - rooms are old and dingy, need a desperate upgrade. Horrible sewer smells coming from the tiny bathroom and our mosquito net didnt fit the bed properly.The only positive is that the staff were all so friendly and helpful. In hindsight I would probably stay at a nicer hotel further out of Arusha as the town itself is not very nice.

Rooms are small and basic, but clean and nice. There is hot water. Unfortunately no AC. But its hard to expect that for that price ;) Women in reception was very nice and helpful.However its a great place to stay for one night before Safari :)

Amazing Place clean and few steps to the city center.

We stayed there as a team for about 2 weeks in Oct. 2019, and loved it. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners, very clean and quiet. Some little things broken (a tile missing in front of our doorstep etc.), but most things in working condition (power blackouts with no internet access can happen, beware!). We loved the open sitting and dining area, little terrace, laundry service etc. Interesting international guests coming through - safari tourists, charity workers etc. Quite central location, little shops and cheap restaurant nearby. Will definitely come back in the future!

Beds are very clean and comfortable in a renovated room with good ventilation. Hot shower was in excellent condition with good Wifi. Located in a peaceful area around the stadium and near to the busy market. The prices are starting from 35000 shillings with breakfast which is little expensive.

We stayed here for one night in between our safari and Mt. Meru climb.Super friendly staff and very clean facilities.Dinner was very good value for money, as well as breakfast.Even though it might not look like it from the outside, it was super quiet once you entered.We could also store our bags safely in the hotel during our climb and were provided with a room to shower once we returned and before heading to the airport.If you are looking for a budget place to stay in Arusha, I would for sure check this place out!

Breakfast here is great and included! Super friendly staff as well. Good price. Just wouldnt recommend getting a room without a bathroom. The shared bathroom is a single toilet/shower and kind of a far walk, especially in the middle of the night.

My husband and I stayed here after our safari. It’s a wonderful place on Stadium Rd, close to most things you might need in Arusha (like the market, Khan’s, etc.). The small front opens to a very nice courtyard with rooms surrounding it in the back. Price is great (we paid 40,000 TSH for the night for a double room with bathroom). The bathroom was a bit tight, but manageable. Clean beds with good mosquito nets and a nice breakfast.

Best place to spend a night or two before and after the safari. Ideal for backpackers who need a private room and not too expensive. Hot shower. Good breakfast. Kind staff members!

Raha Leo is a clean, cosy and quiet guest house, located in central Arusha. We had booked a room for only two nights but we liked the place so much that we ended up staying a whole week. The rooms are rather small but confy, equipped with small but private bathroom with toilet, and mosquito nets. There is a central patio with two couches and a dining table where the breakfast is served. You will be welcomed with a fresh homemade fruit juice. The guest house is open 24/7. Cynthia & Jeremy, the two managers, both speak English fluently and are extremely helpful. They helped us get around in Arusha and advised us. Cynthia even showed us a good tailor next to the hotel, who made clothes for us within a single day.

I spent two nights before and one night after a trip to Serengeti at Raha Leo. The place is located just in the centre. It is very clean, has comfortable matresses and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Matu and the other staff here are fantastically welcoming and laid back. Comfortable, safe and clean with shared lounge and garden. Good wifi, excellent English spoken. Some bedrooms could do with a few fixes and a lick of paint.

It is a grear place while backpacking. I stayed here with my friends and we loved the place. Thats why we booked a second night after our safaris in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The showers are warm enough and good for a person showering😂Breakfast on time and I would highly reccommend it for any backpacking traveller.

Raha Leo is a really nice guesthouse in Arusha. I really enjoy the place, the two managers are really nice and helpfull. This guesthouse is not far from the Arusha market, some good restaurants and a really good tailor. Regarding the bedrooms, there are small but really comfortable, with a private bathroom. The breakfast is served in a central patio, and even if the guesthouse is in the center of Arusha, it is really quiet. I totally recommend this place!

Nice place! Clean and friendly environment. People working at Raha Leo Inn are really warm and helpfull. Bahati is the best :)They receive you with a yummy juice, warm shower and confortable beds. Good accommodation for transfer to and from safari. Clean rooms and presence of hot water. The cleaning of the rooms is better than in other b & b of the same price range, even if the linen or the bedspreads that we were given in the 2 days we stayed were dirty and with some stains.The breakfast is great (fruit, juice, toast, and eggs).Ultimately recommended for the value for money.
