Shoppers is our go-to place for regular grocery shopping. They generally have a better supply of most items than any other store in Arusha, but you need to look elsewhere for your veggies. They only have a limited selection.They do have a large selection of spices, nuts and other bulk items, and a better selection of ice cream (and lower prices) than anyone else.

It is good for more varieties of items. Disadvantage is need to pay for parking even doing shopping at complex.

My go to place for chicken. Thats why I gave it 3 stars. The layout is pretty easy to locate items. Items tend to be mire expensive then smaller shops. The staff are unhappy so don’t expect the same attention and attitude you will get from staff in smaller shops.Also they wont let customers in with hand bags or backpacks. I dont have a problem with this. However, They dont have a place to put them you you just leave it with the guard. I have noticed Indian customers dont get asked to leave their bags like everyone else, there is favoritism because the management is Indian. They need to change this and treat everyone equally.

There is just supermarket ,not gold store. inside supermarket a lot of security alot more than normal, impossible to feeel relax and they always watching you. just need buy some simple things , this is not big deal and who working there they never smile ,they look like so agrresivve .

A big western supermarket where you can find a large variety of international foods. You would be a fool to buy produce or meat here though, as it is much cheaper and better at the nearby local market. If you are an expat or new traveler, it is much much better to support the people at the local market if you can, and a more fulfilling experience too!
