So I shipped some items to Nairobi in August with a guarantee delivery on August 16, item reached Nairobi on August 14, they have been giving us a run around because they probably want to be paid more money. It costs 300 USD to ship to Kenya only to get a run around Shane on you dhl nairobiboffice.

Shipped a travel luggage with personal items in it through dhl and paid 1300$ because supposedly they have fast delivery. Its been over 20 days and they still have not delivered and everytime I contact them they say it will be delivered tomorrow which has been going for a week now. Even though they have scanners they had to open my luggage 3 different times to see whats in it. Just what is the point of paying 1300$ just to ship 1 item, they open the bag multiple times, take over 20 days and counting to deliver it. If I had traveled myself and gotten it, it would have been cheaper, faster, and more privacy. Garbage company do not recommend anyone at all using them.

Good customer service but very slow in delivery.one time this year 1 was sent a parcel and it took more than 300 hours to deliver after the parcel arrived. According to them the problems was that customs were slow in processing the payable duties.A world class company like this should not have such issues.Today its 40 hours and counting...

This company is an embarrassment. I am now 8 days trying to get a book delivered to me which they allowed remain in the customs for 3 WEEKS!! Now everyday I am told lie after lie after lie and now I` am told they want to issue an new waybill number as I look at a DHL email notification telling me it will, b e delivered today. I write this as I am on another indefinite phone hold......what a disgrace. I will from now on ensure ARAMAEX is the preferred Amazon sender.

DHL Kenya are the worst! They deliberately hold parcels citing that they couldnt contact you as the wrong phone number has been provided (when it wasnt incorrect). They then charge duty on parcels that do not need to have duties payable, they refuse to give a KRA invoice for the duty u0026 promise to give a KRA receipt, but never provide. On top of this, they add a processing fee for their own pockets. So you pay the so-called duty, then they refuse to release the parcel, citing a new airway bill is required, but they are the ones to issue airway bills. They are total frauds!

Fast service, with no issues whatsoever. Pro tip: If you live close to the mall, you can ask DHL to set this as a pickup location for all your goods. Its much more convenient than waiting for the courier to deliver all the way from Nyayo House or picking it yourself from the HQ.
