Although Dar has some great cafes, I feel they are very commercialised with alot of emphasis on food as opposed to coffee. I loved the raw, organic feel of The Ridge Cafe and Msumbi Coffees in Arusha.The smell of roasted coffee hits the minute you enter and the emphasis is is so much more on the blends & roasts. Food is minimal. Dar needs more coffee shops which are more coffee oriented and rustic.

Musumbi coffee at sable square shop probably the most good one, beautiful ambience, value for the money!Cappuccino is my favoriteVery friendly staff to make you comfortable and enjoy your coffee.

Very personable service. The various roasts and snacks on offer mean that you can get almost exactly what you want. Lounge chairs and tables with generous newspapers and magazines mean you can really relax while you take your coffee here, or engage in nice conversations with a friend.

Excellent quality coffee and a nice place to hang out but of course very expensive by local standards.
