Nice place for jazz concerts. They open only for concerts and are offering drinks including Belgian beers, wine and some cocktails. You can get some small snacks alongside your drinks there as well.

Great music and simple jazz atmosphere found in ever so many good cities... felt right at home even though I was travelling on my own... can get taxi to the door and although the street looks deserted, go through the arch to find the unique club. Thanks StP

Lovely place, great atmosphere, going here is a perfect way to spend your evening. The music was great and the staff was nice. Just one thing could be done better: don’t bring the bill while the band is still playing, it is nice to have one drink afterwards still, and it is also nice to not have to think about the bill while enjoying the music. Very good place with humble jazzy surroundings and nice music. Got myself a gin and tonic and had a well mannered conversation with the sound guy. So basically it’s a perfect spot to merge a lonely heart into it.

Wonderful place with live music, great performers every night. Cute helpful girls waitresses. Bar: cocktails 300-600 rubles, bottled beer 0.33 for 300 rubles, wine from 1200 rubles per bottle / 250 rubles a glass. Very scarce with a snack, no food at all, nuts / chips 200-300 rubles. The lack of a slightly larger assortment of snacks is the only negative.

One of the oldest jazz clubs in the city, if not the oldest. An excellent alternative to the Jazz Philharmonic. And the atmosphere is more democratic. I have been coming here regularly since about 2005. Sound quality is normal. Concerts are regularly held with the involvement of nonresident and foreign jazz stars. The only caveat is a very funny short menu. Only recently have some cocktails and interesting drinks appeared, and so the menu in small print on the cover for CDs is nice, but somehow not enough.

At the entrance, no one met us, we entered the hall, where there was a group of 15 people, from which there was a cry in the spirit of no one should be allowed to come to us, after which a man in dark clothes came out to us (either the administrator or I had a security guard) and said that, allegedly, “today the sold-out and tickets are all sold out” (despite the fact that all the tickets are clean for entry, without a seat, and the hall was almost empty). If this is some kind of closed party, then at least warn about it in advance in the media, and do not post a poster about the concert in the networks, as public! Probably, this hall is super-visited, and there is no sense for the administration to fight for each visitor ... After such a boorish attitude, there is no desire to come here again to the concert!

The club is not very easy to find (the entrance is deep in the courtyard, from Shpalernaya, the school is a reference point), but it is worth it to get to it. Tickets are better to buy in advance. Inside there are places at tables (more expensive) or you can just buy an entrance. There is not much space, but everything is visible. If you arrive late, you can, having bought an entrance ticket, take a position on the bar stool behind the counter, which is even more convenient than a table. The bar has a standard set of drinks, also tea and coffee, no kitchen, payment in cash or by transfer to a sber card. No smoking anywhere. There is a wardrobe. The only thing I didn’t like was the toilet: it was only 1, very small, with poor sound insulation.
