This was our favorite place to go in Arusha, Tanzania. Damian, the Brew Master, gave us a personal tour of the brewery. We enjoyed it so much we visited a couple of times. It is near the Arusha airport so it is a great place to stop on the way to/from your safari flight.

Love this bar ! Not the perfect location (in a mall but with a terrasse) but this is great that there is a bar/brewery like this here... Without it , the mall would be a bit boring :)Waiters / barmans are so nice !

Good brewery with delicious beer. From food there are only snacks, but without any problems you can order food in neighboring cafes and they will bring it to you here.

It was hard to know if it was open, or where it was. We tried to call ahead for clarification, but there was no answer.. we decided to try anyway. Lights were off, but dont be discouraged. Its located in the mall foodcourt. You can sit anywhere; someone will bring your order to you. Just 2 beers on tap right now, but they let us sample before ordering, and food (and drinks) can be ordered from nearby restaurants.

Coming from the UK I can say they have a very good craft beer

Perfect beer experience !! We spent a really nice time talking with Damian the brewer about beer ! Stout, Ales, and specials IPA… come here in one of the only Tanzanian craft brewery.

What an excellent stop! After some beautiful and dusty safari days in the bush, we have truly enjoyed the freshly tapped Twiga Beer and the brewery tour. Since almost every Safari Car is passing the AIM Shopping Mall, where the Twiga Brewpub is located, on the way to/from Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Nationalpark, we can highly recommend stopping there and support this local but professional craft brewery.

The beer is good. Especially stout. But this guys are often sold out or have no bottles to go. Bring your own!
