We spent 2 amazing night in this place.Lovely people, we have been welcomed as friends.Clean rooms, clean toilets.The chief cooks like a god ! So tasty food, we ate every lunch in the lodge.We recommend this to anyone.Thank you for everything !!!

Everything was amazing, the room and toilet were very clean and comfortable. They picked up us at the airport and also drive us to the center of arusha every time we wanted. The breakfast was very complete and tasty. We also had lunch and dinner there and everything was exquisite. The prices are cheap, and the service its like a 5 stars hotel. The staff are very friendly and they help us to find a safari company. Definitely I will come back to this place.

Staying here was amazing, great staff, secure environment and super clean facilities. Jasin(brilliant chef), cooking delicious food with lovely ambience and a relaxing environment. Just perfect mix of Tanzania culture, friendliness and ++++ hotel quality. From the moment my daughter Jacinta (25) and I walked in, we were so happy. Jasin(manager/chef) and Neiman(driver) helped us get phone SIM/money exchange, ensuring I was safe at all times and waited more than an hour without any charge.When we arrived back, I asked Jasin if he could make vegan dinner for Jacinta in Tanzanian style. He made the most delicious meal and even researched vegan restrictions. I’m not vegan, and I absolutely loved the dishes he made. My son is a very young, senior chef at a highly respected restaurant and he would love to taste his food. Jasin is a gifted chef and we very much appreciated his meals.Gertrude(so cool) and Happy(lovely as) were cleaning, serving and always with a beautiful smile. It’s a small lodge(? 8 rooms), but has everything and more than a hotel could provide. Photos do not do this place justice. There is a cute bar, bar eating area, outside sitting area and small inside restaurant. Very cool place to stay in Arusha. A few minutes out of town, but Neiman will make sure you get anywhere safely. Besides, you really don’t want to stay in town!! We loved Arusha a lot, don’t get me wrong. We walked 5hrs all around, but it can get pretty hectic if you are not used to it. Staying at Arusha Giraffe Lodge gives you security, great food, cleanliness, relaxing atmosphere, easy safe transport with a very affordable price. I made sure to tip generously, as much as I could. Stay here! Romwald, who is the general manager has a beautiful soul. He and the staff will make sure that you feel the great Tanzanian Hospitality.Even though the facilities are basic, the bed is good and the personal service is fantastic.The place is a bit out of town so Romwald will happily drive you in there or pick you up.The neighborhood may seem rough but really it is quiet and safe. This was one of our best stays in Tanzania!

Stayed here before and after my Kili Hike. Rooms are good, clean. Had great hot showers and slept really well. Food is good too!

Great lodge, welcoming and helpful staff. A bit far away from Arusha, but makes it quiet, and restaurant is quite nice. They will also provide transport if you need to go in town

Service, service and cleanliness at the highest level. We were picked up from the bus terminal on time. There was a welcome drink on arrival. Rich and balanced breakfast. Authentic surroundings in a quiet quarter and yet you can walk to a main street in 5 minutes and take the minibus to the city.
